Prowind werkt aan de realisatie van Windpark Koningspleij
Samen met o.a. projectpartners Rijn en IJssel Energie Coöperatie, Gemeente Arnhem en Provincie Gelderland werken wij aan de realisatie van 3 windturbines langs de Pleijroute (N325) in Arnhem.
De windturbines van Windpark Koningspleij komen in een lijnopstelling te staan. Twee van de vier windmolens zijn een burgerinitiatief en bouwen we samen met inwoners uit Arnhem en omgeving. Inwoners van Arnhem en omgeving kunnen mede-eigenaar worden van deze molens. Een windmolen is eigendom van Prowind. De stroom van de drie molens wordt afgenomen door 18 gemeentes in de regio Arnhem. De vierde molen van het windpark zal de stroom op gaan wekken voor Industriepark Kleefse Waard (IPKW).
Het gezamenlijke windpark zal naar verwachting 34 miljoen kilowattuur (kWh) per jaar opleveren. In vergelijking, dat is genoeg energie voor ruim 11.000 huishoudens.
